PRESENT LIFE
Rezaren leads a busy life, juggling responsibilities within the Magisterium, all in pursuit of his ultimate ambition: ascension to the Divine status. Though he primarily resides in his childhood mansion near Minrathous, he frequently travels to the Summer Palace to study the Circulum Infinitus.
When he's not attending matters at the Circle of Minrathous, stuck in the Chantry, debating in the Magisterium's council chambers, practicing spells, or reading in the library, Rezaren retreats to a hidden sanctuary beneath his mansion.
There, in the secrecy of his
workshop, he continues his study on various blood magic
artifacts, on
necromancy, on finding a solution for
Neb, and pursues his late father's secret research on
immortality. He also cherishes a private collection of blood from willing donors.

Marked by his outward charisma and intelligence, commanding presence, self-serving, and astute nature. His obsession with power and control often leads him to justify morally questionable
decisions. His ambitious drive make him both arrogant and pragmatic, pushing him to take risks and pursue his goals with relentless determination... and good intention according to him.
However, when faced with setbacks, he can become misguided, abrasive, impulsive, and manipulative. Although he tends to place trust in others, he himself is not always trustworthy.

SPELLS & ITEMS
BLOOD MAGIC: Blood magic, Blood sacrifice, Blood wound, Blood slave, Demon summoning & binding. Rezaren can forcibly control a target's blood, unless it the target passes a mental resistance check. Creatures without blood are immune to those spells. While blood magic doesn't consume mana, it draws upon the caster's own health and vitality, requiring self-harm as its cost.
NECROMANCY: Horror, Death siphon (passive), Animate dead. Rezaren can force a demon inside a dead body to animate and control it. Mixed with blood magic, it allows for
blood blinding, effectively binding the victim to the caster. However, this power comes with a significant limitation: the caster's own blood is required to perform the binding.
ARCANE MASTERY: Arcane bolt, Arcane shield, Fade step, Fade shield, Crushing prison, Mind blast, Energy barrage. Rezaren's arcane mastery is primarily focused on combat, enabling him to expertly fend off enemies and outmaneuver them with precision.

GLYPHS & SUMMONING: Rezaren can summon a glyph of paralysis or a glyph of repulsion. By spending time in other realms and studying other forms of magic, he has also advanced his expertise in summoning, including the ability to conjure small objects from the void.
HEAL: Rezaren can heal himself and mend physical wounds, but he can't cure illnesses or reverse amputation.
BATTLEMAGE: Rezaren has learned to harness pain and transform it into power, restoring mana whenever he suffers damage.
ITEMS
MAGIC STAFF (default): As a mage's most fundamental tool, the staff serves as more than just a symbol of magic and power. While skilled mages can cast spells unaided, the staff acts as a channeling conduit to focus magical energy, and as a weapon. This one bears no scratches or flaws. The 7-feet long staff that once belonged to his father still stands as new, covered in enchanted black and gold paint. At its upper end, two parallel, razor-sharp tips, capable of slicing through flesh like a knife through butter.
CIRCULUM INFINITUS (default): After coaxing the Divine, Rezaren obtained the permission to study the Circulum in the private vault of Nessum's Summer Palace. This powerful blood magic artifact has the capacity to revive the dead.
ENCHANTED SATCHEL: This satchel has the capacity to store the contents of an entire chest. Through enchantment, Rezaren creates multiple dimensional spaces within the satchel, allowing him to store an almost limitless amount of belongings.
IRIDESCENT GEM: A mysterious and potent gem, gifted by a friend. The true nature of its power remains unknown... Oval in shape, and soft upon touch, its surface is reminiscent of a fairy's wing.
MENTIS IMPERIUM ORBIS: This is a blood magic orb recovered from a cave swarming with darkspawn and gigantic spiders. It enhances the
Blood Slave spell, creating an unbreakable bond between the wielder and the victim, even apart. However, it can only be used sparingly, as it requires several weeks to fully recharge.
MISC: During his travels, Rezaren carries a pocket knife and empty glass vials. The knife, its handle made from dragon bone, is foldable. You never know when you might need either one of them... or both.
