These are my personal guidelines as far as roleplaying with me is concerned.
I ask that anyone expecting to write with me review these and keep them in mind.
Roleplay and Reality
PLEASE do not blur these boundaries or push me to do so. If I am comfortable enough with you I am willing to share SOME aspects of the person behind the character. Do not just assume I will hand over delicate information (phone number, gamer tags, ect.) because that WILL NOT happen regardless of how close we are. I, the writer, would personally prefer to remain anonymous for my own comforts sake.
Activity and Interaction
I am not one to delete people easily UNLESS you make me severely uncomfortable or you do not respond to my greeting within two weeks. I am incredibly patient and understanding but I do know my own limits. Honestly so long as you speak to me semi-regularly, either ooc or otherwise, and we have a story started you'll be safe. If you can't guarantee at least that you should see yourself out.
Quality and Quantity
Honestly i'm a very versatile partner to write with regarding detail and length. I will say though that I ALWAYS prefer quality over quantity but I do expect at least two paragraphs. I realize there are people of all skill levels present on Aniroleplay but, for the sake of my own interest, I need at least that much to work with. Otherwise I will get bored very quickly and likely end the roleplay all together.
Lyla's story contains disturbing themes that may prove to be triggering to those that are sensitive to said subjects. I suggest if you cannot handle excessive blood, gore, vulgarity, violence, abuse, drama, and far more that you get out while you can. This is not a sunshine and rainbows kind of genre nor will I alter it to be as such. Sorry.
I cannot stress this enough, CONNECTIONS ARE EARNED NOT GIVEN. I'm all for having things develop naturally via the story and our in-character interactions. Though I am certainly not opposed to people expressing their interest in a specific role to me out of character. I'm happy to discuss the possibility, if it's available, for said character to take on their desired place in Lyla's story. That being said I feel I need to elaborate regarding romantic interests, Lyla WILL NOT get with other characters if she is interested or with someone already. She's a ride or die kind of woman whose loyal to the one who actually manages to earn her heart.
Beyond the above all I ask is for common respect, understanding, and courtesy from my partners. If you have to leave for an extended period of time due to personal reasons or busy schedules just tell me. I am more than willing to wait it out for the sake of our story. Furthermore if you're feeling our story isn't going well and you wish to rethink our approach or end it all together PLEASE just tell me. I will appreciate your honesty and let things end amicably with no bad blood whatsoever. I will be one hundred percent sure to provide the same.
Though these may seem harsh or over the top to some, I assure you i'm a very reasonable person to write with. Most the time I will gladly accommodate as needed if I am invested in a concept or story idea. So if you feel unsure about something just ask. I promise it's that easy.
