About me: Oroku Saki (also known as Shredder) was the leader of the Foot Clan. He was the main villain of the Fred Wolf's produced 1987 TV series. In the Japanese dub, his original identity is called Sawaki Oroku. Shredder was frequently assisted by his mutant henchmen, Bebop and Rocksteady, and was bossed around by Krang, until season 9, where he was replaced by Lord Dregg.
Shredder was mainly voiced by the late James Avery, who was known for playing Phillip "Uncle Phil" Banks from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. However, in a few episodes, he was voiced by Pat Fraley, Jim Cummings, Townsend Coleman, and Dorian Harewood as fill-in actors. From the eighth season onward, Shredder was voiced by Bill Martin.
