Addison Spade grew up in a "good home", she got everything that she could have ever wanted because her parents were rich. But she never really cared about those things when she was a teen and her parents never understood why. She would always run away whenever she could when her parents were out of town, while also causing trouble for her family, and would do things they would always disapprove of out of spite and it caused them to despise her; just like she despised them. One day, she found out they were going to send her away to try to fix her attitude and how she acted. They had an argument about it and she started resenting her parents so much more and wanted to get out as soon as possible. wanted to get away before things got worse. So, one night when everyone was asleep in the house, she packed up a quick bag and stole some jewelry along with some money. And she skipped town.
Now 25, she has changed her appearance as much as possible to not be found. She cut and dyed her long black hair and it is now short and silver. She has got a sleeve tattoo on her right arm and is working on her left arm now. She also has her ear and eyebrow pierced as well and is now hoping to get another. While her attitude has stayed the same throughout the years. She is very outspoken, brave, distant, disrespectful(to an extent), Daring, Serious, etc. But, even with all of that, if you were to follow her home, she wouldn't be heading towards a neighborhood, she would be heading into the woods. She finds this place not only comforting, but she loves it knowing she can hide and not get caught from all the chaos that she had caused after hitting someone with a baseball bat or fighting someone or stealing something and riding away on her skateboard. She also finds it a good place. Knowing she lives close to many towns, so after causing too many issues in one place, she goes to the other town. Which is why she could never just call one place "home".
Even after all these years, people don't know why she still loves- fighting and stealing. She does know that even though she doesn't need to steal; she enjoys the thrill that happens with it so she continues to do it. But some people won't understand that. She loves her music and art- so she tends to steal those the most. As it calms a part of her that she needs to relax. Friendliness isn't really her forte, as she tends to be not that very friendly to people- as long as she doesn't know them very well. But even then she isn't that friendly. Because her parents never told her how to be friendly to people. So, she just does it to everyone she meets. When it comes to schooling, she didn't get too far. She made it to middle school then got kicked out because of her behavior and even because of her starting fights. But she just never cared about school. So she tends to hate it and just never went back. Her parents hated her for that. Being touched is a big thing that she despises. You touch just her arm? She might just twist it off. While she doesn't have 'trauma'- which is what she wants herself to believe; she like to keep everything about her short and sweet and anymore questions she starts to get irritated. It could be because of suppressed memories from all these years, but she just hates talking about herself. She is always trying to forget about that part of her more and more. Press her more on it? She might snap. She doesn't talk about her parents, siblings, or anything. She just avoids those conversations. So people tend to just think they are all dead. Or if they mention that missing girl to her? She laughs and says she isn't her and she doesn't know "those people". Even after acting weird after they were mentioned. She is very much her own spirited person. While people may think of her as a good person, she tries to erase that image from their head the moment they get to know her even more. Because while she wants friends, she likes being alone.
