The Genjutsu Amaterasu is most known for is for her Song of the siren technique. Chakra is directed to a source of vibrations of her vocal cords. Once vibrations are produced from this particular area, a prime example being speaking or even singing, they are saturated with directed chakra and expelled from the body as sound waves. Amaterasu is then granted absolute control over the sound waves and can discretely amplify the rang and volume of the sound as she sees fit. Upon coming in contact with the potential victim, the sound waves travel into the ears, thus infecting the victim with her chakra. This chakra then moves directly through the cerebral nervous system of the opponent, as is the nature of illusory techniques, and employs the genjutsu of the her choosing.

A genjutsu designed to temporarily change one’s thoughts and emotions through eye contact and skin. One of its distinctive features is its smell. With its overpowering sweet and floral aroma, you know this genjutsu is in affect.

This ninjutsu associated with healing and is categorized as one of Amaterasu’s most practiced technique. The use of medical ninjutsu requires very advanced chakra control, as well as extensive knowledge on such things as herbs, medicines, the human body and even poisons.

though Ama has a lot to learn in Taijutsu, one of her greatest strengths is her natural skill in picking up almost any fire style jutsu with little to no practice and is very capable in using this to her advantage in combat.
