Kaze is what even his fellow curse spirits call "A Wildcard". While he is a member of the special grade disaster curses, his partnership with them is due to similarities in their abilities rather than being one of them due to similar mindsets. This often led to clashes in ideologies and personalities between them that eventually came ahead when the other three joined forces with an unknown special sorcerer(Kenjaku) in favor of making a world where curse spirits become the new humans. It's this clash that led Kaze to branch off on his own and cut all ties with the others, unaware that even without accepting the sorcerer's offer he was still ever under his watchful eye.
While Kaze doesn't harbor the usual burning disdain or hatred towards humanity itself, Kaze at worst is indifferent toward the lives of a few, and at best he finds some entertainment in individuals. To him, while they aren't a plague on this planet or something needing to be destroyed as some curses believe, they aren't exactly something equal. Rather they are more like beings that have lost their way of serving the strong due to their disappearance and due to this they now attempt to fill the void. Witnessing this sight caused him to become interested in their act, especially those that put on a pretty good performance. This ideology leads to the almost playful and gitty demeanor towards those who interest him as he learns what they can do in a fight while showing little to no care towards all else around. Commenting that "These humans could just breed and build back what is lost."
With that said, While he isn't exactly the most caring Kaze still has a sense of protectiveness towards those that reside in the whole of Japan. Questioning him on it would acquire vague answers if any at all. In reality, not even he exactly knows yet...or rather he doesn't remember. This is due to Kaze Kami only remembering the last one hundred years or so. Why? That's cause he a reincarnation of the powerful curse spirit that was said to escaped from the underworld and eventually became revered as the wind god of Japan, Fūjin/Fūten. This news though is known to few, not even he knows...yet.
Abilities & Powers Kami's Curse technique: being the amalgamation of humanity fear of wind and storms it would only make sense that Kaze's Curse Technique is the control of wind and production of storms.
Gust: The conversion of energy to produce wind towards the direction of his choosing. Depending on the amount of energy he pours into this he could the intensity of the winds to being between that of a summer breeze to that powerful tornado. He can even compact the energy so that when launched it's like blades of wind ready to cut through things or leave gaping slices on that are tough enough. A misconception with this is it needs a hand to guide it but as long as he guides the energy in the direction he wants it to go in some way it can be crafted on the fly.
Stormpunch:By gathering curse energy around his arm and having it stuck in limbo between being converted back and forth wind to curse energy and vise versa he is able to form powerful reinforced 'gauntlets' of wind that not only help protect him from the bulk of damage by both CE reinforcement or using the wind to attempt redirection of the blows but it also allows Kaze to still affect his opponents even with a miss as a mere graze from the wind could risk being affected by powerful winds depending on how much curse energy he gathers around there.
Stormpunch(Maximum technique): By pouring a large curse energy into the Stormpunch technique and pointing it in a direction the curse energy becomes like a cannonball and launches out toward whatever it is pointed at, engulfing them in a vortex of wind and curse energy. This attack is devastating as it can rip trees in its path out at its full power, break boulders, and tear through buildings but a large drain of energy. Due to this Kaze limits himself to only use it in the most dire of situations.
Simple domain, The Eye of the Storm: A simple domain limited to the range of a few meters wide and only active with Kaze in the center of it by binding vow but with the power to a spawning tornado. It's here where Kaze feels safest. With winds that could range between one to two hundred miles per hour reinforced by cursed energy, most attacks need tremendous force to pierce through or else be redirected away. Inside it, people and objects alive have to fight to not get lifted up and possibly thrown off balance by its winds and collide with each other while in there. All the while, Kaze is free to do as he pleases, he could bind himself to the floor as if his domain itself isn't there or fly free above to whatever direction as long he stays inside.
