The Bio-Raptor was a versitile workhorse of the Digald Empire, having served as advanced recon, front line combat, support, and patrol missions. Due to their versitile role Bio-Raptors are perhaps the most commonly seen Zoid aside from their close relative, the airbone Bio-Raptor Gui. By height of the Anti-Digald War, Digald's Bio-Raptor numbers reached mass production, making their numbers surpass tens of thousands of units within the Imperial Army.
With a weight of 23.5 tons and standing at 7.2 meters, these Zoids were a daunting foe to be seen on any battlefield.
Each Raptor squad was capable of performing each task with unparalleled precision, and near perfect results, thus making them a prime combative unit for the Empire, and a downright terror for those who opposed them.
Each Bio Raptor comes equipped with Heat Killer Bite, one Hellfire cannon, Tail Cutter, a pair of Heat Spikes, and dual Heat Hacking Claws for close range combat. In addition, Bio-Raptors are outfitted with a light coating of Digqld's infamous "Hell Armor", thus making them mostly impervious to conventional damage. Their only main weakness aside from intense pressure such as being submerged in molten rock or being subject to severe blunt force, a weapon made from Leeo, otherwise known as Metal Zi wpuld be the only material capablw of rendering Hell Armor useless as it is strong enough pierce through. Aside from that, only q carefully placed blast to the BioRaptor's Hellfire Cannon locsted inside the kouth would be ebough to destroy this Zoid from long range. This made Bio-Zoids such as the Bio-Raptor and Bio-Raptor Gui a nearly unstoppable force in battle, allowong the Digald Empire to capture towns, cities, and heavily armed fortresses with ease.
Unlike normal Zoids, Bio Zoids require a special pilot to control them, otherwise this massive metallic creature will lay dormant. And with such a scarcity of gifted pilots, the Digald Empire found a way to combat this. As most of the Bio Raptor and other Bio Zoids have been equipped with a fully integrated AI system that controls all functions of the Zoid making it completely obedient to command structures.
