A roving adventurer that has the appearance more associated with a thug, or an evil mastermind. What lies hidden beneath such a misconception is a pragmatic, earnest man who seeks to test his mettle and wits against the wider world against his strength. Armed with enchanted blades that he can call upon with a flick of a wrist, Leon MacCarrick is known as being a swordsman with an answer to damn near any situation, all due to enchantments that he had learned.
Though well-intentioned, his looks have gotten him into trouble on more than one occasion... a fact that he attributes towards his bad luck if any were to ask him. But, he does not allow it to get the better of him in doing what he sets out to do, be it his objective or a target that needs to be taken care of.

Leon presents an interesting dilemma of the human condition. While inherently a good man, he was born in an era where life and death walked hand in hand on the outskirts of his town. There was a need to be able to turn off those inhibitions of the mind, to be prepared for war against the unnatural creatures that lurked outside the erected walls of Dublin, the city he was born in at a moment's notice. This has caused a warped sense of mania to develop in his mind when in the throes of battle, when adrenaline pumps through his veins so thoroughly that becomes more akin to a ravenous beast, hungering for blood and action.
While he was ingrained with a sense of duty for his home, his heart cried out for adventure, to see things beyond the walls of his home and the confines of what remains of his country, a wanderlust that couldn't be satiated quite so easily burning in his breast. Stoic to strangers, but still rather kind despite his appearance, Leon presents an adventurer's spirit that you'd often find in stories, eagerly taking in the new and unknown with almost childish wonder.
