Gladiolus Amicitia
Gladiolus is a cheerful person, contrasting with his imposing physique. Gladiolus has been a fan of the great outdoors since he was young, and has collected various Coleman camping equipment items. He enjoys fighting, and thus researches techniques and skills.
Gladiolus comes from a family that has always been protectors of the Lucian royal family, and is the only party member with a militaristic background. Not only is he trained to protect Noctis, but he's also his friend. Gladiolus freely expresses his opinions on what's necessary and acts as a pillar in ensuring that the team doesn't sway from their goal. This directness leads him into arguments with Noctis. Gladiolus holds Noctis to a high standard as the heir apparent, and becomes impatient with him if he doesn't think Noctis is trying hard enough. Their confrontations can escalate to a physical level, Gladiolus grabbing Noctis by the shirt to lecture him, and generally acting in a threatening manner. However, he takes great pride as Noctis's sworn shield and instinctively jumps between Noctis and anyone who tries to harm him. Stemming from this, Gladiolus is blunt when it comes to humor. Gladiolus is confident in his abilities, but at times fears he is not strong enough for the position of the future king's shield. He is flirtatious with women, earning Prompto's ire.
Guidelines
01. English isn't my first language, so try and excuse any grammar or spelling mistakes I might make. I'm pretty lenient too, as long as I can understand what you're trying to say. Just do your best. Oh and as a side note, I use a lot of curses and slang OOC. Don't ask me to change it, but you can ask what I meant if you don't understand something.
02. I got 99 problems, but persistent and rude bitches ain't one. Seriously. Don't be rude. Don't keep adding me if you've been denied and don't keep messaging me asking where your reply is or accusing me of stupid shit like "ignoring you." I'll do what I please at my own leisure. Thanks.
03. Don't god-mode, autohit, metagame, or any of that happy shit. It's common sense. If you need to do something that requires a certain action by my character, ask me first. Just... don't write his reactions for him or any of that mess. That's my job.
04. I'm a pretty laid-back kind of person, so I'm open to a lot of different stuff in terms of plots. In fact, I prefer doing alternate universe stuff as opposed to strict canon lines. But I'd actually like to get a group of friends (canons and OCs) to do statuses and shit with. That seems like it'd be fun.
05. Role plays won't overlap, but I'm not looking for 20 different romance plots. I'll pick one, maybe two, that I'm really into and that I think work well with my character and those will be what I stick with until something changes.
06. If something makes you uncomfortable, you gotta let me know that shit. How am I supposed to fix it if I don't know? Same goes for if you don't like the way our story is going. Let me know and we can talk it out.
07. This might sound a bit weird, but like... if you add me, I'm kinda looking to you to make the first move. You probably had some ideas or... some kind of shit floating around in your head, right? Lay 'em on me.
08. If you noticed, a recurring theme in this list is "discussion." That's kind of a thing for me when it comes to anything. Communication is important, so I'll stress it one more time. Tell me shit.
09. I'm try'na keep my shit organized, so please send OOC things to comments and RP things to messages. Comments have a limit and nothing's in order, I ain't payin' for premium, and I don't care about formatting.
10. Bigotry is not tolerated here. Don't butcher cultures just because you think it's cute or cool or some shit. People butchering Japanese is one of my biggest peeves. Throw random words like "kawaii", "sugoi", or "bocchan" at me in the early stages of knowing me and you'll probably thoroughly piss me off.
11. Role play and real life don't mix. If our characters are dating, we're not. If my character hates you, that doesn't mean I do. Also, don't bring your real life problems into the role play. If you wanna talk about that shit, do it OOC... but keep in mind that I ain't nobody's therapist. I've got my own problems and a real life girlfriend to take care of. They're my top priorities.
12. I don't have time for group role plays, and I ain't here to have my e-dick stroked by winning a bunch of fights online. If I wanna fight, I'll go do it in real life. lol But no, seriously. If you're someone who only role plays in groups, then you're wasting your time adding me. If you're someone who only fights, you're wasting your time adding me.
13. Um, this one should be a given, but don't use chatspeak or that kind of shit when you're writing with me. Spell your words out. Write like you give a shit about what you're writing. OOC is a different ballgame though.
