About me: Iron Heart was born into slavery with not a name but a number that his owners called him. He was always fighting back and trying to break free, making his ownership change constantly. One owner found a good use for him though, entertainment. He would be put into death matches and forced to fight and he was good at not dying. One night when he would be about 18, the matches were some kind of celebration and seeing a chance, he broke free and escaped the city. With the collar still around his neck he only had one choice and that was to keep running. He would not stop moving until day broke and his legs were sore. Exhaustion toke over as he collapsed somewhere in a forest he had never been.
When he woke up he was in a small building, and that familiar feeling of the collar around his throat was gone. He would soon learn he was brought in to a peaceful village hidden in the forest. Upon living there for a short time and being taken under training by a elder monk, he was given the name of Iron Heart. But this peace would not last forever, even though he was free and didn't have the slave collar around his throat, the marks of it was still imprinted on his skin and there were reports of a group of slavers passing close by. He could not people these people that helped him in any kind of danger so he made sure to slip away before the slavers got close. He would clearly need to run farther away and so he did.
He made sure to wear items that would cover his neck and head as he made his way to a port and escaped the continent. He didn't care where the ship toke him as long as it was another land. This new land would be where he would start to make his life of freedom. He found a passion in teaching the next generation and making sure everyone knew a life unbound.
