Takumi Yamada was born the second son to the Tatsuhiro Yamada, Oyabun(boss) to the Yamada Clan. A dangerous yakuza syndicate that dabbled in behind-the-scenes work in many criminal trades: drugs, human trafficking, and worse. They were known best for their stealthy attacks and assimilating smaller, weaker groups into their midst to monopolize Okinawa, Japan. Tatsuhiro focused on his eldest son, Takeru, and poured his criminal knowledge into the young boy. Tatsuhiro endured so his younger siblings, Takumi and Takara Yamada, would not get too involved in the criminal syndicate.
In Takumi's eyes, he had a perfectly normal childhood. Sure, his family was...large and dealt in shady things, but...they all had each other's back. At least that was what he thought until his teenage years; Takeru was in his prime, ready to take over the Yamada Clan; a darkness he had fought to keep his young siblings from of. He was mysteriously murdered, the investigation is still pending, and Takumi finds himself responsible for his death. Instead of becoming the new boss of the Yamada Clan, in their hour of need, he turned his back on them and escaped--he is currently in hiding, trying to make a life for himself in the city where nobody knows his name.
His ears picked up the wind that sounded when the door closed behind him, and the sun blaring brightly through it. A ball of fur came rushing forward with something in its mouth and hid behind his long legs, peaking a little off to the side. A beautiful feline it was and there was no doubt getting into trouble. He crouched down low managing not to bunt it with his rear end, and gave the feline careful pets.
He could only assume this was her owner finally coming forward about the feline, confused with the way he questioned his introduction. Adrien lifted his head up and looked at the other with a smile. "She found some human food. Of course she's active."

I apologize for returning back to you so late. I'm slowly finding my motivation swarming back. And here I am!ย Thank you for accepting my add. I am quite interested in getting a cool story going whenever you're not swamped with femme's and what have you at your feet. Haha. I had intentions of just making some prompt ideas unless you had an idea? Also, I do have a discord but I think I might wait to exchange that with you.
;; I'm always down to brainstorm and write! I also have a list of prompts i threw up in a bulletin if you fancy using those.ย Otherwise, I'm also game for a random storyline.ย Just be warned, Hye-Jin is supernatural based and needs some of those elements to even exist, but I can always downplay how big of a part that aspect of her character takes!
No such thing as a lame greeting, I'm appreciative to get anything.
I'd be more than happy to start getting a story going with you, I've been musing pretty hard and itching to get some writing going. I don't mind random starters but tend to lean more towards brainstorming and getting a general idea. Simply because I'd hate to put your character in a situation that wouldn't befit them, if you're open to that.
If you'd like to add my discord for some off-hand banter you're more than welcome to that as well.
Hey there! Def not lame of you to say hello first. Thanks for accepting! I'm looking forward to us connecting and I hope we get to write very soon. We can definitely work off a prompt if that's more your style, or we can plot. I can work with either. :] I also write on discord as well which is usually faster for me, but I've been trying to be more site active.ย Let me know!
> naaah, man you're good. thanks for reaching out. you beat me to the punch. i'd love to write with ya and i really don't mind random starters. so take all the time you need. worse case, i don't mind sending you a random starter if you are busy or backed up with owes.
