About me: The famous and resourceful ex-adventurers, Owen and Cattleya, got married after overcoming many hardships together and settled down to manage the "Cattleya Weapons Shop". They made another friend, the "Great Alchemist" Cyan and for a while they sold rather well high-quality weapons made from low-cost iron. Rana, their spoiled child, grew fast. For Cattleya, a nice wife and a wise mother who worried about her family, it was a happy time that didn't last long. One day Owen suddenly vanished.
Cattleya believes she will find clues to her missing husband's whereabouts if she participates in the Queen's Blade. The fights are broadcast all over the Continent so, carrying her son Rana along, she decides to participate in it. She wields "Giant Killer", an enormous sword with peerless reach and destructive power which was forged by her husband. She's also a formidable master of one of her best items in her shop, the javelin. However, the battle might be tough for her since Rana doesn't want to be apart from her for a second.
"...The famous black smith and ex-Seeker (adventurer), Cattleya, I presume? Though...with those proportions and that equipment...you'd stand out even if you tried denying it."ย
The light voice carried its direction toward a young, andrognyous figure standing just shy of ten-feet. Dull, calculating crimson and shadow-tints seemed to be devouring her figure top to bottom--it was as if an appraisal was being set forth before his lips cracked. Only then did light flicker in his gaze--hand outstretched with gloved phalanges wide, almost welcoming into some obscure handshake that was too apart for them to make connect. "...Yeah...you definitely have what I'm looking for...I want you!"
Certainly those words might cause initial miscommunication. Though the stranger intentionally did not clarify his initial positionof wanting herย experience and skillsย to assist him, rather than the ambiguous and embarrassing implication one might expect. He had spent a rather sizeable amount of Fil (gold) seeking potential blacksmiths for his Clan. Talent. Experience. Practical Strength. Sense of Community. These were traits few could find in a single smith, but one that could forge and wield equally--such a treasure he needed absolutely to make a foundation for his dreams. For those he intended to recruit after.
"...Huh, I guess that did sound a little more...excessive now that I think about it?"
...Was he being serious, or simply messing around?

// A pleasure to have your acceptance. I look forward to writing up an adventure with you, and if you enjoy the spontaneous banter above feel free to use it as the beginning of our own writing! I just like adding them here. Noel is...an interesting little character but I am sure she can get along with him once he is more specific on his meanings.ย
