Lana, born from the division of one person now into two. One light, the other dark. Lana, much like her yin counterpart, was a powerful sorcoress, whom used her magic to help and save, rather than to conquer and destroy.
In the multi-era war, Lana lent her abilities to save both the armies of Hyrule and its civilians they swore to protect by taking a battalion of resistance under her command. Her main and primary task, other than stopping her literal other half, was to intercept and drive back enemies occupying the various holds throughout the Kingdom of Hyrule. But, doing so was more than a mere challenge for the young mage. She and her troops fought valiantly, though her true identity had been a secret. For if anyone were to find out, she would fear certain, and understandable retribution.
During one battle to save the Faron Woods from an enemy attack, Lana found her troops to be completely surrounded and outnumbered by a superior force. However, a timely arrival of a freshly stocked legion headed by a hero in green, and his allies swooped in to save her just as the enemy came in for the coup de grace. They regrouped, and soon lead a counter offensive, taking various critical locations and keeps, until the enemy had been completely driven off. Though the armies of Hyrule were not initially sent there to save *her*, but rather had gone to investigate rumors of a powerful magic user using her abilities to save others. Something, their now missing Zelda would do. But, to their surprise, Lana was nothing like Zelda, yet the sorceress happily agreed to help them find their princess, and save the kingdom from total collapse.
For a while, Lana had kept her secret safe from those around her- the ones she had soon come to call her dearest friends. But, eventually, her secret did come to light. That while Cia was out there waging an all out war on Hyrule~ That Lana was in fact Cia. As she was not only a sorceress, but a watcher of the timelines. Her abilities allowed her to peer into every aspect within Hyrule's history to keep a record of all events past, present, and future. But as she did so, Cia became absolutely infatuated with Hyrule's greatest heros, each Link incarnation. But, she knew that despite her feelings, she could never be with such a hero. However, as she often dreamed about Link, a small portion of a malevolent force seeped into her sanctum, corrupting her, and pushing the very thing that made her an honorable, virtuous guardian. Thus bringing Lana into existance
