About me: The ocean spanned over the planet covering vast areas with water. Many people were lost to the ocean depths. Boats capsized in storms, drunken sailors falling over board never to be seen again. Boats simply floating through the waves, sometimes finding its way with the waves to the shore. Other times they simply vanished. But some times sailors would find them selves on land, telling tales of seeing a mermaid swimming in the water. Some that lived spread of the legend of mermaids. But of course no one would believe such stories. A mermaid in the water? Who would believe such a thing? Well some do believe and they seek out to see the beautiful creatures that lived in the vast sea. Sometimes some may even spotted but only for a moment as they dove back under the water never to be seen again. One such mermaid was a little more daring than people would think. Alena her name was. Beautiful ocean blue eyes, green shadow like colours running from both of her eyes to her long light red hair that fell to her lower back. Her long green coloured fin complemented her body majestically. A smile so sweet that the one person who in the years laid eyes on her was said to have fallen in love the moment he spotted the mermaid. Some called him a drunken fool, while others wondered with all the rumours and the legends that maybe, just maybe they were real. Alena had her favourite spot she liked. She had a place she liked to visit. To settle on a rock and simply enjoy the vast ocean surface. She was spotted once but the one who saw just assumed it was someone out enjoying a swim. The small town of Verta on the vast lands of ocean blue. One would need to take a boat to sail to the small town and even then those that sailed the boat had spoke of seeing something in the water. But she was careful to steer clear and not let herself be seen. But even then she couldnt always stay hidden. Now Alena sat at her favourite spot, her fin swaying behind her in the ocean water. Her head resting on a rock and from a distance she watched the humans with interest going about their daily lives while she watched unnoticed from a far. Who I'd like to meet:
